Health Benefits and Risks of Drinking Alcohol

Updated: Dec 12, 2021

As a life coach who helps women drink less and create healthy balanced decisions around alcohol, I'm always on the hunt for relevant information surrounding alcohol. Perhaps you search for studies and information, too.

I found an article that I thought you'd like to read as well. This article is very thorough about laying out the pro's and con's of alcohol consumption and how much is considered healthy. The article goes into how much alcohol to consume to be a "moderate drinker", hormones, what happens to your muscles, weight gain, cancer, inflammation, sleep quality. It covers so much in an easy to read format.

I'm sharing it with you so you are informed so you can make healthy balanced decisions about your alcohol consumption.

I know it's one thing to read and know the facts and science about alcohol and what it does to our bodies but it's truly another skill to know how to manage your mind when it comes to that ever so difficult choice to pour a drink or not pour a drink. The retraining of the brain is where the hard work comes into play.

There is no shame in needing help and guidance to retrain your brain to stop the habit of over drinking.

If you are feeling stuck and need some help, I'm here for you 100%!

P.S. Here's the link to the article The Health Benefits and Risks of Drinking Alcohol.
