What does the American Cancer Society recommend on alcohol? The most recent article is dated June 2020.
In the past the ACS has never stated that it is best to not drink alcohol. A lot of people in the sober world are praising the ACS and are thanking the ACS for finally taking a strong stance against alcohol.
Whether you are wanting to be sober or moderate that is your choice - 100%!
There is no right or wrong - good or bad. It is important to free yourself from that type of thinking!

Remember this is your journey. Whether you drink one drink or a bottle a day it is up to you to make the best decision about how you feel about booze and how you move forward on cutting back or taking a break.
My goal here is to share the current recommendations from the ACS.
As of June the ACS is recommending "it is best not to drink alcohol". If you do have a drink women should limit to 1 drink per day (that doesn't mean save up your weekday drinks and binge on the weekend!).
